ELYSE LANGER: BIO
Elyse is a lifelong singer/songwriter and found her musical home in beautiful, inspiring Western Massachusetts. Her intimate and autobiographical songwriting draws from a lifetime of traveling, noticing, discovering authenticity, and finding delight and humor whenever possible. She grew up outside New York City, circumnavigated the globe, and lived in places such as Colorado, California, Alaska, and Cape Cod before visiting the Pioneer Valley and realizing instantly and definitively that it’s where she was meant to put down roots and make music.
Recently, you might have seen her featured in Heather Maloney's Songwriter Showcases at The Parlor Room and The Arcadia Folk Festival, or on the cover of UMass Magazine singing with her local rock choir, for which she is a regular soloist at the Academy of Music in Northampton. She has also been a featured performer for TEDx Easthampton Women, has upcoming gigs at local venues, and does professional vocal recording and VoiceOver narration.
She is available for booking and would love to sing at your venue or event!
